O'Dempseys 1-10, Colt 2-7
The Junior B County Final ended in an anti-climax on Friday evening when after an interesting second half the game ended in a draw.
O'Dempseys started poorly and were 2-2 down after 10 mins as Colt took full advantage of the wind. However 1-3 by Barry Kelly and 2 points from Ruari Bracken left the game nicely balanced at half time 2-3 to 1-5.
Colin Kehoe leveled the game immeadiately after half time but Colt rallied well and continued to press well right to the end when a draw was proably a fair result.
There were some fine performances from Conor Kavanagh at the back, while Johnny Behan and Colin Kehoe battled well up front with Barry Kelly(1-5)taking his scores well. However Liam Finlay until he was injured had an outstanding game linking backs and forwards all night.
Replay is fixed for Timahoe on Weds night,Aug 5th @ 7-30.
