ACFL DIVISION 2 - O'Dempsey's reach final, Park drop down
O'Dempsey's secured a placed in the ACFL Division 2 final and automatic promotion to Division 1 at the weekend when they easily got the better of Park-Ratheniska in horrendous conditions in Killenard.
Three goals from Steven O'Leary and two from Michael Finlay helped O'Dempsey's to a 5-8 to 2-1 win and ensured they overtook Arles-Kilcruise to finish in top spot in Division 2.
O'Dempsey's were 3-6 to 0-0 ahead of a decimated Park side at the break and although John Kelly struck for two second-half goals, it wasn't enough as O'Dempsey's were always in control.
